Merchants Leasing, a nationwide fleet management and leasing firm, has been awarded the “B2B Standard of Excellence” award from the Web Marketing Association for outstanding achievement in Web site development, the company reports. Merchants Leasing launched its new Web site, merchantsleasing.com, last December as part of its overall customer relationship strategy. The site, created by Stackpole & Partners of Newburyport, Mass., delivers “intelligent” Web pages to match visitors’ specific industries and areas of interest regarding fleet leasing and management. The Web Marketing Association is the producer of the WebAward Competition. Now in its 11th year, the WebAwards is an annual international Web site award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all Web site development.
