Effective January, Markus Deusing is chief executive officer of leasing and mobility company Alphabet International.
The previous chief commercial officer takes over from Marco Lessacher, who will now take on responsibility for BMW Group Financial Services’ global sales activities as the new vice president, customer, brand and sales.
Commenting on his appointment as CEO, Deusing said:
"The industry is currently in a major change process—and change is an essential part of Alphabet's DNA—that makes it even more exciting. With a strong team and a clear strategy, we will help our customers build a better future in mobility provision.”
Deusing started his career at BMW Group in 2005 and has held various management functions in Germany since then. In his previous role as CCO, Markus drove the sustainability and digitisation agendas at Alphabet and, in the last two years, successfully navigated the sales organization through a highly volatile period while also being responsible for the strategic coordination and development of all Alphabet markets.
Alphabet said that Duesing would continue the company’s comprehensive offering to small and medium enterprises as well as with international corporate customers.
