March Heavy-Equipment, Truck Auctions in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, and Florida

At least four large auctions are taking place this month, and more than 1,100 pieces of equipment are being auctioned, including utility and construction equipment, trailers, and bucket and digger derrick trucks.

Utilities in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, and Florida, looking to expand or replace their existing fleets will have at least four auctions and more than 1,100 pieces of equipment to choose from this month.

Starting off the auctions will be Assiter Auctioneers, which is holding a heavy equipment auction at its Canyon, Texas-based facility on March 6. The company is the official auctioneer of Barrett-Jackson. In addition, J.J. Kane is conducting auctions three Saturdays in a row, starting March 15.

Thursday 3/6 – Canyon, Texas

Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Assiter Auctioneers, 16650 Interstate 27, Canyon, TX 79015
Inventory: Heavy equipment, Ag machinery, trucks, and vehicles. The entire inventory will be posted at www.assiter.com and will be available for inspection.  Individuals seeking to consign equipment or bid on assets may call 800-283-8005.

Saturday 3/15 – Charlotte, Mich.

Time: 9 a.m.
Location: J.J. Kane auction yard, 750 Island Hwy, Charlotte, MI 48813
Inventory: More than 400 pieces of power line and utility equipment, construction and underground equipment, trucks, and light-duty vehicles and trailers, including bucket trucks and digger derrick trucks from Consumers Energy, Detroit Edison, Michigan Gas Utilities, Asplundh Tree Experts, and area contractors.

Saturday 3/22 – South Beloit, Ill. (and online)

Time: 8:30 a.m.
Location: J.J. Kane auction facility, 14354 Dearborn Avenue, South Beloit, IL 61080
Inventory: More than 450 pieces of utility and line equipment, trucks, trailers, and light-duty vehicles from Nicor Gas, North Shore Gas/Peoples Gas, ComEd an Exelon Company, Asplundh Tree Expert Co., and other consignors. Equipment from California and Ohio Sellers will also be available live off-site. 

Saturday 3/29 – Riviera Beach, Fla.

Time: 9 a.m.
Location: FP&L facility, 2455 Port West Blvd., Riviera Beach, FL 33407
Inventory: More than 250 pieces of power line and utility equipment, construction and underground equipment, trucks, light-duty vehicles and trailers, including bucket trucks and digger derrick trucks from FP&L and area contractors.
