Manitowoc Cranes announced it will display three Grove and National crane models at this year’s International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) in October. The company will showcase the Grove GHC30 telescoping crawler crane, as well as the NBT45-1 and 890D boom trucks from National Crane. All three will be outfitted with attachments ideal for utility fleets.
The Grove GHC30 is the latest addition to Manitowoc’s line of GHC telescoping crawler cranes and the smallest tin the product line. The full-power three-section 83-foot telescoping boom can handle lifts at various radii without setting up on outriggers. It will be outfitted with pole claw and auger attachments.
The National Crane NBT45-1, which features a 142-foot boom, will be equipped with a two-person, quick-attach yoke platform with wireless radio remote control. The platform offers a 1,200-pound maximum capacity.
The National Crane 890D boom truck will be equipped with an optional auger attachment on its 90-foot boom. The crane is suitable for a wide range of work, including drilling holes for pilings, utility poles, and light poles and installing components once drilling is complete.
