Mack Trucks has been named the official hauler for PBR (Professional Bull Riders), part of TKO Group Holdings, through a multi-year partnership.  This is the first Western sport partnership in Mack Trucks' history.

Attendees of the PBR Teams Gambler Days, Aug. 21-23, at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, were able to experience a full-branded Mack presence.

“Mack partnered with PBR because of our shared brand values and the opportunity to share experiences with our customers that strengthen our relationships with them,” said David Galbraith, Mack Trucks vice president of global brand and marketing. “Partnering with PBR gives us a great stage to show what the Mack Pioneer can do and what the Mack brand is all about. We're looking forward to proving that across every stop of the season.”

Beginning with the 2026 PBR Teams season, two Mack Pioneer models will haul the steel infrastructure that forms the backbone of every PBR event, including the bucking chutes, panels, gates, and posts that encircle the arena.

That steel, collectively weighing nearly 75,000 pounds, stretches 1,800 feet when assembled or the equivalent of six football fields of connected steel. It must travel reliably from city to city across the PBR’s top U.S. tours.

Spec’d for Heavy Work

The two Mack Pioneer models selected for the application are each spec’d with the Mack MP 13 515-horsepower engine and Mack mDRIVE 12-speed automated manual transmission. The trucks are spec'd to operate at up to 80,000 pounds gross combination weight (GCW). The 76-inch mid-roof sleeper configuration features a reclining bunk with premium mattress, providing drivers with the comfort needed to keep pace with PBR's demanding travel schedule.

As part of the partnership, Mack Trucks will activate across PBR Teams, a 10-team league launched in 2022, and PBR Unleash The Beast, the sport’s premier individual competition tour, bringing its brand directly to fans through a robust mix of physical, in-venue, and digital assets.

The program includes two co-branded, wrapped Mack Pioneers deployed through the Mack Trucks Dealership Activation Program, supported by co-branded marketing materials and rider signings, as well as dedicated concourse and Fan Zone activation space. Mack Trucks will also receive in-arena visibility through digital LED and second-level signage, along with inclusion across PBR social media, newsletter, and website channels.

The Mack Pioneer, which began production in 2025 at Lehigh Valley Operations, Macungie, Pennsylvania, is Mack's most aerodynamic and fuel-efficient highway truck to date, delivering up to 11% improved fuel efficiency compared with previous models.
