Gas suppliers Linde LLC and Prometheus Energy recently helped a Pennsylvania utility improve its operations through equipment upgrades. Linde supplied two large liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage trailers and two special vaporizers to LNG supplier Prometheus for an installation job, helping maintain service for 700,000 customers.

Using the equipment supplied, Prometheus was able to inject natural gas into the utility's pipeline system at the correct temperature, pressure, and flow rate. In addition to permanent storage and vaporization stations, Linde owns a fleet of temporary, mobile equipment designed to meet the needs of a broad cross-section of industries.
