Ford Motor Co. has named Kumar Galhotra to lead its North America business. Galhotra has been overseeing a revamp of the Lincoln brand for the past four years.
Ford Motor Co. has elevated six executives to operational roles its North America business, the Lincoln brand, and other strategic roles, the company has announced.

Kumar Galhotra has been named group vice president and president of Ford North America. He replaces Raj Nair, who resigned on Feb. 21 after an internal investigation into reports of inappropriate behavior.
Galhotra has spent 29 years with Ford serving in a variety of roles. Since 2014, he has led Lincoln Motor Co. He has also been serving as the company's chief marketing officer since last year. Galhotra reports to Jim Farley, executive vice president and president of global markets. He starts March 1.
Joy Falotico succeeds Galhotra as group vice president for Lincoln and chief marketing officer. She has served as group vice president and CEO of Ford Motor Credit Company since late 2016. Falotico also reports to Farley. Her appointment is effective March 1.
To replace Falotico, David McClelland has been named vice president and CEO of Ford Motor Credit. Other appointments include Stuart Rowley as vice president and chief operating officer for Ford North America; John Lawler as vice president of strategy; and Cathy O'Callaghan as vice president and corporate controller as well as chief financial officer of global markets. O'Callaghan will start June 1.
