LeasePlan Romania reported, at the end of third quarter, earnings of 28.5 million Euro, 30 percent more than in the same period from 2011. It has invested 37 million Euro in 2012 for vehicle acquisition.
"At the beginning of our activity in Romania, we set, as a confirmation for the group international leader position, to become, in 5-10 years, number one in delivering services of fleet management also on the local market. Today, when we are celebrating 5 years of activity, we are glad to announce we have reached this objective. Further on, we plan to consolidate this position," said Bogdan Apahidean, LeasePlan Romania managing director.
The value of the LeasePlan Romania portfolio increased in the first 9 months of 2012 by 40 percent, reaching 70.6 million Euro, compared to the same period in 2011. As of the end of the third quarter, LeasePlan Romania administered 7,065 vehicles, 18 percent more than during the same period in 2011.
LesePlan has a portfolio over 170 companies serving various industries, including energy, financial services, FMCG, and IT&C.
