Hyundai has recalled its 2015 Sonata mid-size sedan for a poor connection within the vehicle's wiring harness that may result in a reduction of steering assist or the inability to move the shifter out of the Park position.
The recall affects about 2,100 Sonata sedans, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The cars, which were produced in May, were just beginning to arrive at dealer showrooms. Hyundai has redesigned the Sonata for the 2015 model year.
