GPS Insight, a technology provider of GPS fleet and asset tracking for commercial fleets, announced the company’s addition to the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) member group purchasing contract. NCTC members now have the option to purchase GPS Insight’s fleet tracking software with pre-negotiated volume discount pricing, terms and conditions.

NCTC’s approximately 850 cable company members now have the opportunity to take advantage of the aggregated discount, a common member perk for NCTC to make it easier for members to pass on cost savings to their subscribers.

As well, GPS Insight has partnered with many cable television and utility fleets and understands specific industry challenges. “Cable One was able to improve driver behavior by 68% within the first few weeks of using GPS Insight,” said Tad Drescher, manager of process improvement and workforce management at Cable One, a current GPS Insight client and NCTC member.

GPS Insight also has other purchasing contracts focusing on government organizations, including Buy Board, Winvale and Western States Contracting Alliance. The company also has several preferred vendor contracts with companies like ABM, Epicor and Mosquito Squad.

NCTC members interested in learning more about GPS Insight are encouraged to contact NCTC or GPS Insight directly.
