Electrorides to Unveil Electric Medium-Duty Truck

Electrorides Inc. has announced it has begun production of a fully electric, zero emission medium-duty truck branded ZeroTruck.

Designed for eliminating emissions and creating energy independence, the ZeroTruck offered in low cab forward design will carry the latest in electric drive technology. Features include EIG lithium polymer battery pack, UQM high efficiency brushless permanent magnet electric motor, fully-automated transmission, a 100-mile battery range with full highway capability, on-board charger and regenerative braking.

The ZeroTruck will debut at the National Conference 2008 Alternative Fuel and Vehicle Institute National Conference, May 11-14 in Las Vegas, then travel on a national tour to other major cities in the U.S.
