eCapital Selects Small Fleet Real-Time Visibility Tool
Small fleets and owner/operators can easily offer their load sources — which include freight brokers, commercial shippers, and all shipment stakeholders — automated, real-time status updates that are more convenient, seamless, and add value to the logistics management process.

Drivers and fleet owners simply share a link with their customer; updates are provided instantly and automatically, arming customers with insight into location, anticipated time of delivery, and status of at-risk shipments without time-consuming check calls and activities.

eCapital LLC, a leader in accelerating payments for transportation and third party logistics (3PL) businesses, today announced the eCapital visibility tool, powered by its partnership with 10-4 Systems, a Trimble brand.
Delivering real-time tracking and status information on drivers and loads, the visibility tool eliminates the need for check calls to determine physical location of fleets and goods moving across the supply chain. Small fleets and owner/operators can easily offer their load sources — which include freight brokers, commercial shippers, and all shipment stakeholders — automated, real-time status updates that are more convenient, seamless, and add value to the logistics management process.
“By partnering with 10-4 Systems, we’re tapping into proven applications and technologies for the transportation industry,” Hussein Yahfoufi, eCapital’s vice president for technology and products, said in a statement. “Automated, real-time tracking capabilities are typically only available in ‘full featured’ transportation and fleet management systems (TMS). Today, our small fleet clients can differentiate themselves, competing more effectively through smarter processes and better customer service.”
The eCapital visibility tool is part of eCapital Connect, the company’s suite of digital tools designed to help clients efficiently manage, fund, and grow transportation businesses. Drivers and fleet owners simply share a link with their customer; updates are provided instantly and automatically, arming customers with insight into location, anticipated time of delivery, and status of at-risk shipments without time-consuming check calls and activities.
“As logistics becomes increasingly data driven, it’s smart business to capitalize on partnerships and peer expertise. Working with eCapital, we’re enabling visibility as a smart new feature in their digital toolset for streamlined operations and fast payment,” Sean Kelly, director of product management for 10-4 Systems, said in statement. “Small fleets now have access to a full range of modern business tools — including transparency into the lifecycle of each shipment without a costly TMS commitment.”
The visibility tool is free to eCapital clients.
