CLEAResult, North America’s largest energy efficiency, energy transition, and energy sustainability services provider, announced the launch of its ChooseEV Fleet Electrification Assessment Tool, a new product designed to help utilities support customers transitioning their work truck fleets to electric vehicles (EVs).
The tool streamlines fleet data collection and analysis, assists in creating individualized vehicle transition plans, and identifies the necessary charging infrastructure to facilitate fleet electrification.
Streamlining the Fleet Electrification Process
The ChooseEV Fleet Electrification Assessment Tool enables customers to make informed, data-driven decisions and better quantify the transition process by outlining costs, developing customized charging and scheduling plans, and highlighting available financial incentives.
“Utilities are fielding a fast-growing number of inquiries from fleet customers looking to electrify their operations, but navigating the options and selecting the best fit can be complex and time-consuming,” said Divakar Jandhyala, CLEAResult’s chief product and technology officer. “Our new tool greatly simplifies the comparison process and enables utilities and their customers to quickly find the best electrification solution that aligns with their goals.”
Key Features of the ChooseEV Fleet Electrification Assessment Tool
The ChooseEV Fleet Electrification Assessment Tool offers a user-friendly interface with key features that provide:
A flexible methodology to develop fleet transition scenarios based on a given timeline, grid needs, and pricing strategy.
Options to select comparable EVs and charging plans that meet work truck fleet requirements.
Streamlined preparation of conceptual site charging plans.
The ability for utilities to plan for future infrastructure needs based on the transition timeline to full fleet electrification.
Report generation with detailed infrastructure costs and multi-year implementation phases.
“This tool empowers our clients to create optimal fleet transition plans,” said James Russell, vice president of energy transition at CLEAResult. “It demonstrates CLEAResult’s continued commitment to developing innovative solutions that enable grid-friendly electrification.”
