The Thompson Group Classic Chevrolet Fleet & Commercial has opened the first dealership-owned CNG fueling station at its location in Grapevine, Texas.
The Thompson Group Classic Chevrolet Fleet & Commercial has opened the first dealership-owned CNG fueling station at its location in Grapevine, Texas.
In addition to providing CNG, this fueling station (Classic Clean Fuels) also features biodiesel, ethanol and regular unleaded fuel, says the company. And a charging station for electric-powered vehicles is planned for the near future.
“Since 1978, we have been committed to finding ways to help our business customers be more competitive and profitable,” said Ken Thompson, founder of Thompson Group Classic Chevrolet Fleet & Commercial. “Now by reaping the benefit of bi-fuel technology, many of our customers are already making plans to convert their entire fleet over the next year. The cost savings will not only give our customers a competitive edge, but also has tremendous benefits due to the fewer emissions.”
