ARI and Team Holman were recently recognized by the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of Autism Speaks as the top Southern New Jersey “Walk Now for Autism Speaks” fundraising team of 2012.

This prestigious award is given to individual or corporate teams that go above and beyond to raise funds and increase autism awareness. In 2012, ARI, together with participants from its parent company, Holman Automotive Group, Inc., became the first organization to raise more than $40,000, making ARI and Team Holman the top fundraiser for the fourth consecutive year. The team was honored during an award ceremony held Friday, February 22 in Almonesson, New Jersey.

Fundraising events for the most recent autism awareness campaign included a corporate-wide silent auction, t-shirt sales, dress down days, a raffle for baskets made up of donations from local businesses, and a 50/50 raffle. ARI and Holman Automotive have a strong culture of community service and of giving back, stemming directly from the company’s founder, Steward Holman. Throughout the year, the company and its employees participate in a wide variety of community events like “Walk Now for Autism Speaks” and actively work to have an impact in the towns and communities where many of the company’s employees live and work.
