The all-new 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger delivers an unprecedented combination of battery-electric vehicle (BEV) technology and work-ready performance. With a targeted range of up to 690 miles, necessary towing and payload capacity, and advanced powertrain technology, the Ramcharger is built to handle tough fleet demands.
Equipped with a 92-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack and an on-board 130-kW generator, the Ramcharger powers 250-kW front and 238-kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs). This combination provides fleet managers with a versatile truck that maximizes uptime while minimizing reliance on public charging infrastructure.

Extended Range without Charging Downtime
Unlike traditional BEVs, the Ramcharger eliminates range anxiety with a gas-powered 3.6L V-6 engine that serves as an on-board generator. The generator supplies power to the battery when needed, ensuring that fleets can operate without relying on public charging stations.
With 400-volt DC fast charging at up to 175 kW, the Ramcharger can add up to 5 miles of range per minute, allowing for quick turnarounds when plugged in.
The 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger includes vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home bi-directional charging, allowing fleets to charge other Stellantis battery-electric vehicles or provide backup power.

Optimized Efficiency With Intelligent Drive Technology
The front EDM features an automatic wheel-end disconnect, allowing the front wheels to spin freely when not needed, improving efficiency. The rear EDM includes an available electronic-locking rear differential for added traction.
With five drive modes (Auto, Sport, Tow, Snow, and Off-road), drivers can adjust performance based on workload and road conditions.
