'80s Hardbody Vibes
Frontier enters the new model year with a throwback touch in the shape of the Hardbody Edition, a nostalgic tribute to the original Nissan Hardbody pickup of the 1980s that’s sure to resonate with many generations. Available on Frontier SV Crew Cab 4x4, the Hardbody Edition features heritage-styled 17-inch wheels, retro-inspired decals, all-terrain tires, a sport bar, black exterior trim, and other design flair.
The limited-edition package has an MSRP of $3,890.
The Hardbody Edition starts with the Crew Cab SV 4x4. It features three-spoke, heritage-styled 17-inch alloy wheels, reminiscent of the original truck, fitted with all-terrain tires. The truck also boasts an aluminum skid plate, black over-fenders, a black side rail, mud flaps, and a bed-mounted sport bar, all contributing to its retro-rugged appearance.
In keeping with its '80s inspiration, the Hardbody Edition sports black-painted bumpers, mirrors, door handles, and grille. To complete the look, black graphics add a touch of nostalgia, with a prominent "4x4" logo on the front doors and a tailgate graphic featuring a cut-out "Nissan" logo, replacing the typical Nissan tailgate emblem.

"We took some of those design elements and modernized them. Even if you don't recognize or remember the original Hardbody, you're still going to say, 'That's a cool truck,'" said Hiren Patel, project lead designer, Nissan Design America, a division of Nissan North America, Inc.
The 2024 Nissan Frontier gets even "more rad" with the introduction of the retro yet modern Hardbody Edition.
