To help keep drivers warm this winter season, Covercraft offers a SeatHeater kit. This kit includes four heating elements for both the seat base and seat back for both the driver and passenger seats.
The wiring harness plugs in the vehicle’s accessory power outlet, according to the company. Made in the U.S., the self-regulating heating elements use heating technology that provides warmth and prevents overheating.
Additionally, each kit comes with a dual switch for individuals to control the heat level.
“Our SeatHeaters are easy to install and fit perfectly under any of our custom-fit SeatSavers,” said Mark Korros, CEO of Covercraft. “We’ve also created a unique SeatHeater ‘envelope’ design to securely position the heating elements. They have a soft-grip material on the base, and a spacer-knit fabric top layer for breathable comfort and even heat.”
The heating pads are placed in special envelopes. Once the SeatHeater is put on the seat, push the “tails” with wire connections between the seatback and seat base, according to the company. Then seat covers can be placed over the SeatHeater.
