Ram will continue to offer a Tradesman trim of its 2019 Heavy Duty pickups announced earlier this year that's geared toward vocational customers, the FCA unit announced at NTEA's The Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.

The Ram Tradesman trim, which will be available on the Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups, comes with standard 17-inch steel wheels and features a black mesh grille and header, along with halogen lamps. Chrome accents on the body of the truck and 18-inch chrome clad wheels are options.

As with all 2500 and 3500 trims, the Ram Tradesman trim also offers adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and AEB with trailer brakes as options.

The Ram 3500 rear-wheel Tradesman regular cab, long bed with a 1,000 lb.-ft., 400 horsepower, 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel, and 4:10 axle ratio can tow up to 35,100 pounds with a gooseneck set-up. The Ram 3500 Tradesman rear-wheel, regular cab, long bed with 6.4-liter HEMI V-8, 410 hp and 429 lb.-ft. of torque, can haul 7,680 pounds.

On the regular cab, the Ram Tradesman maintains a manually shifting transfer case, vinyl floors, and crank windows, according to Ram.
