GammaTech announced its newest rugged tablet, the Durabook TA10. The high-end unit features a 10.4-inch multi-touch panel with tempered glass and ultra-high brightness LCD, an Intel Ivy Bridge processor, and two six-cell battery packs. The unit meets Military Standard 810G for drop and shock resistance, and IP65 for dust and water resistance, according to the company.

To keep work safe in the field, security features include TPM 1.2 data security technology, a Kensington Lock connector, and Intel anti-theft technology (AT) or Computrace asset management and data protection. Optional features include a UHF RFID reader, barcode scanner, fingerprint scanner, Smart Card reader, internal GPS, and more.
