Idemitsu 0W-20 Full Synthetic Engine Oil, 5W-20 Premium Engine Oil and 5W-30 Premium Engine Oil each use the same lubricant technology that is OE factory fill at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Kia, Subaru, GM, and others.
Idemitsu 0W-20 Full Synthetic Engine Oil helps OEMs increase fuel economy while maintaining the protection required by today’s smaller, high-efficiency engines.
Now available for the aftermarket, Idemitsu 0W-20 meets OE vehicle application requirements for increased fuel economy, reduced engine oxidation, corrosion and sludge formation, improved emission system protection, and compatibility with sealing materials, according to the company.
Higher quality synthetic base stock and advanced additive packages give Idemitsu 0W-20 Full Synthetic Engine Oil a high Viscosity Index for superior high and low temperature performance, according to Idemitsu. The balanced formula reduces internal engine friction while also providing greater high temperature-high shear (HTHS) protection.
Idemitsu’s 5W-20 and 5W-30 low viscosity engine oils also use the same lubricant technology that is OE factory fill at many Asian import and other vehicle makes, according to the company. The lighter viscosity oil flows better at colder temperatures, allowing the engine to crank faster for quick starts. It helps prevent wear and supports longer drain intervals.
Each of Idemitsu’s low viscosity engine oils meet or exceed OE application-specific requirements for API service category SN and ILSAC GF-5. Use them in all vehicles for which a low viscosity engine oil is specified.
