Mack Trucks recently received a Milestone Award from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce for celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2025. The award was presented during the Lehigh Valley Chamber’s annual meeting at Windham Creek Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Founded by two brothers in a Brooklyn, New York workshop, Mack Trucks is now one of the major trucking OEMs in the world. Throughout its history, Mack has contributed significantly to major infrastructure projects such as the Hoover Dam and continues to be a leader in the industry by developing innovative solutions.
“Mack is honored to receive this prestigious Milestone Award from the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce,” said Stephen Roy, president of Mack Trucks. “We assemble all of our Class 8 models right here in the Lehigh Valley, and we appreciate the hard work and commitment of the Chamber, the community and our employees, without whom we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this milestone.”
All Class 8 Mack trucks for North America are assembled at Lehigh Valley Operations (LVO) in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Mack Class 6 and 7 models are assembled at Roanoke Valley Operations (RVO) in Salem, Virginia.
“For 125 years, Mack Trucks has stood as a symbol of strength, craftsmanship, and American ingenuity, and for 120 of those years, they’ve called the Lehigh Valley home,” said Frank Facchiano, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Mack’s legacy runs deep in our community - building not only world-class trucks, but also opportunity, pride, and progress for generations. We are proud to honor this extraordinary milestone and the people who continue to drive Mack’s enduring spirit forward.”
