Assurant, Inc. a global protection company that works with connected devices, homes, and automobiles, announced an expansion of its partnership with Holman, a global automotive services provider and one of the largest privately held companies in the industry.

Holman, well known for its fleet management and mobility operations, expanded in 2024 through the acquisition of Leith Automotive Group. As part of this growth, Assurant will now support 30 additional locations with finance and insurance (F&I) products, training, and performance development to ensure consistency across Holman’s growing platform.

Why Does this Partnership Matter for Work Truck Fleets?

For vocational and work truck fleets, partnerships like this highlight how dealership acquisitions connect directly back to fleet services. Holman’s reach goes far beyond retail sales, it touches fleet management, leasing, and mobility solutions. By standardizing F&I products and training across its expanded network, Holman can ensure that commercial and fleet customers have a consistent experience, no matter where they interact.

“As Holman’s trusted performance development partner since 2016, we are excited for the opportunity to deepen our collaboration,” said Joe Amendola, VP, Business Development & Strategy at Assurant Dealer Services. “We have successfully onboarded the newest Holman dealership teams and are energized to work even more closely to elevate customer satisfaction and drive meaningful results.”

For Holman, the expansion reinforces its ability to keep processes aligned across the organization, including its fleet and mobility business.

“Assurant has played an important role in our efforts to drive F&I profitability to record levels in the nearly 10 years we have worked together,” said Shelby Preble, National Director of Finance, Holman. “As we welcomed these already well-run dealerships into the organization, we wanted to ensure consistency across our entire family of dealerships and continue to optimize performance. Through our partnership with Assurant, our newest platform in North Carolina is already up over $200 PVR, providing the resources our dealerships need to continue to thrive while also helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience.”

For work truck and van fleets, the impact could be significant. Expanding a unified approach to F&I and training across Holman’s network means:
