Ford Pro has introduced a new round of software updates aimed at improving fleet security, vehicle monitoring, and electric vehicle (EV) charging management.
The latest enhancements, available in February 2025, bring upgraded features to Ford Pro Telematics and Ford Pro Charging Software, providing fleet managers with better visibility and control over their operations.
New Ford Pro Software Features Now Available
Ford Pro Telematics Web Application
Live Map Enhancements: New popup tools and a sidebar now display vehicle status badges, helping fleet managers quickly assess vehicle conditions.
Updated Vehicle Health Tab: The Vehicles page now features card-style layouts and new health status tags, making it easier to identify vehicles needing maintenance and minimize downtime.
Enhanced Reports Pages: Fleet managers can now take advantage of improved data visualizations, expanded table headings, and refined filters for better analysis.
Ford Pro Charging Software
Automated Dashboard Insights: A new update allows users to tap any charging port name in the Dashboard or Charging Views to instantly access detailed charger information.
Charger Health Alerts: Ford Pro has redesigned the Charger Health tab (formerly "Services") with new severity levels, updated alert codes, and clearer troubleshooting guidance for fleet managers.

Ford Pro Telematics Web Application
Schedule Service Workflow: A new progress tracker provides a more structured process for scheduling and marking service as complete.
Fleet Settings Workflow: The Rule Creation and Editing tool now includes full-page windows and progress tracking for smoother navigation.
Departure Preconditioning: Fleet managers can now manage multiple EV preconditioning schedules at once with simplified status fields and bulk action options.
Refined Tables & Filters: Updates to table layouts and filtering functions offer a more streamlined and consistent user experience.
Ford Pro Charging Software
Improved Report Scheduling: Starting March 1, monthly reports will be sent on the first of each month, while weekly reports will be delivered on Mondays to better align with reporting cycles.
Charger Support Tools: A new Support button in the Charger Health tab provides direct access to troubleshooting guides, live chat, and customer support contacts (available in North America).
Ford Pro Prioritizes Security in Fleet Management
In addition to these updates, Ford Pro has achieved ISO 27001 certification for its telematics platform, reinforcing its commitment to data security and responsible information management. The certification sets a global benchmark for confidentiality, integrity, and data availability, an increasingly critical concern for connected fleet operations.
With these latest software improvements, Ford Pro continues to refine its fleet management tools, offering more security, visibility, and control over gas, diesel, hybrid, and electric fleet operations. Work Truck will continue to monitor developments in fleet telematics and charging solutions.
