Ted Cannis, who has led Ford Pro since it was founded in 2021 and helped build it into an industry-leading and customer-focused product, software and services business, has elected to retire after a distinguished 35-year career.

Ford Motor Company has announced that Ted Cannis, CEO of Ford Pro, will retire at the end of September 2024 after an impressive 35-year tenure. Cannis has been instrumental in shaping Ford Pro since its creation in 2021, transforming it into a high-growth, technology-driven division focused on commercial vehicle solutions and services.

Under his leadership, Ford Pro has become a major player in the industry, building a reputation for delivering top-tier customer-focused products and services. Cannis also played a key role in the growth of the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) since taking over leadership in 2023. FCSD supports global parts, services, accessories, and vehicle customization, helping to drive Ford’s value for both dealers and customers.

Andrew Frick, president of Ford Blue, will step in as interim leader of Ford Pro until a permanent successor is announced. Daniel Justo, currently Ford Blue's chief financial officer, has been named vice president of FCSD, effective Oct. 1, 2024.

Frick praised Cannis’s contributions, stating, "Ted's energy and passion for customer satisfaction have been pivotal in Ford Pro’s evolution into a $70 billion revenue generator this year. His work has left a lasting impact on Ford’s ability to support fleets and lower their total cost of ownership."

As Ford Pro continues to grow with more than 600,000 paid subscriptions in the second quarter alone, the division is positioned to remain a key part of Ford’s success. Cannis reflected on his time with the company, noting, "Leading Ford Pro has been the most rewarding chapter of my career. The team, our dealers, and our customers are in great hands, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Ford Pro and FCSD."

With the addition of Justo to the FCSD leadership role, Ford looks to enhance its global parts and services operations.
