Andreas Deuschle, global head of RIZON, noted, "Our rebranding to RIZON USA reflects the confidence our partners have in this innovative brand. Together with Daimler Truck, we are positioned to deliver top-tier e-mobility solutions, setting new standards for sustainability and customer satisfaction."

Six Zero-Emission Truck Models

RIZON USA offers six Class 4-5 medium-duty all-electric cabover trucks, ideal for urban and last-mile deliveries. These vehicles are designed to meet a range of needs, including stake bed, dry van, flatbed, dump, and refrigerated applications. With a range of up to 160 miles on a single charge, RIZON trucks offer compatibility with Level 2 AC and DC fast charging, ensuring flexibility and convenience for fleet operators.

The initial models—e18L, e18M, e16L, and e16M—were launched in May 2023. Two upgraded models, the e18Mx and e18Lx, are expected to debut in 2025. They offer enhanced payload capacity and a class-leading warranty covering the powertrain and high-voltage components for 8 years or 120,000 miles, with an extended battery warranty up to 185,000 miles.

Expanding National Footprint

RIZON USA continues to grow its national presence with certified dealer partners in nine states, including California, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Alabama. Each dealership is equipped with skilled technicians, diagnostic tools, genuine parts, and charging infrastructure to support battery-electric truck customers.

RIZON is Daimler Truck's ninth brand, unveiled at the 2023 Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo. The brand is dedicated to transforming the commercial trucking industry with sustainable, high-performance vehicles. RIZON trucks are designed for real-world applications, offering a range of up to 160 miles and gross vehicle weights from 15,995 to 18,850 lbs.

These battery-electric trucks support DC fast charging and more economical Level 2 AC charging, making them a flexible and future-ready choice for fleets.

As RIZON USA continues to expand its reach, it remains focused on offering practical, sustainable solutions for fleets, aligning with the growing demand for zero-emission vehicles across the U.S. market.
