Legend has launched a new retracting side step for vehicles at Work Truck Week 2024. The new step is designed to enhance mobility and accessibility for all commercial and passenger vehicles.
This first-of-its-kind automatic retracting step mechanically retracts as the door opens and closes, preventing any damage to the step and requiring no additional electricity from the vehicle. It has been tested in the harshest winters in Europe and North America and has an extremely high grip rating.
Produced in North America, the vehicle step has already garnered interest from hundreds of fleet and upfitter prospects by word of mouth.
This step is a game-changer, as Legend Fleet Solutions noted it is set to revolutionize the mobility and accessibility markets while enhancing driver safety for last-mile delivery fleet vehicles. It has an extreme grip surface, no electricity required, and a record-breaking weight capacity. Unlike electric steps, it doesn't require electricity from the vehicle, which preserves EV battery range.
Legend is also launching several new flooring options for cargo vans, box trucks, step vans, and more. They are the industry leader in commercial van protection and known for protecting some of the largest fleets in North America down to the smallest fleets through their extensive upfitter network.
