Daimler Truck North America’s Detroit Assurance safety system is designed to adapt to various truck configurations, including those with equipment that obstructs radar or blocks cameras.
The system integrates forward radar and cameras to enable active braking and collision mitigation.
Plus, it now offers functionality for vehicles with partial camera obstructions, helping prevent false alarms caused by equipment in the camera's view. This allows for continuous safety features even when the truck's use changes.
