The Kenworth T880S Performance Hood is the fourth hood option for the T880 lineup. It features a longer hood with a set-forward axle for engines up to 15 liters and 605 horsepower.
Alex Reid, Kenworth’s vocational marketing manager, explains how it is made of durable DCPD material, has a five-piece design for easier repairs, and includes a stainless steel and aluminum wire mesh grill for durability and cooling efficiency.
The hood accommodates a larger 1,440-square-inch cooling module for optimized cooling for even high-horsepower engines.
