The laptops are designed for professional, industrial use with tasks in a wide variety of locations. They come with 11th generation Intel Core processors (up to i7) and up to 32 GB of RAM and are capable of the new Wi-Fi 6 WLAN standard.
The new Rockbook X540 and X550 G2 laptops meet the demands of field service professionals in numerous industries. TheRockbook X540 and X550 G2 were designed for just such situations as they come with a host of advanced communications features, including options for LTE and 5G (expected in winter 2022). They can be used with all major GPS navigation systems, have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and also offer interfaces such as three USB 3 ports, HDMI, and a serial port.
They run the latest Windows 11 Pro and 11th generation Intel Core UP3-Series processors (i5 and i7) along with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory. Both devices feature expansion options. The NVMe main memory is available in various configurations up to 1 TB, a hard drive slot enables the expansion by another 5 TB of storage capacity, and flexible data transfer is possible via the SDXC card slot.
Rockbook X540 and Rockbook X550 G2 also offer the latest physical security and data protection features. A TPM 2.0 module, optional self-encrypting hard drives, and integrated Device Protection Technology with Boot Guard all contribute to system protection. A fingerprint sensor already included in the standard scope of delivery supports secure logins via Windows Hello, while the integrated Kensington Lock slot protects the workstation against theft.
The Rockbook X540 and X550 G2 come with two batteries: a 46.6 Wh hot-swap battery as well as an additional fixed 14.8 Wh battery. The device remains fully functional during battery replacement. The compact form factor and two hot-swappable batteries make both models ideal for extended use in the field.
