Tool Circuit Hydraulic Oil Warming Kits
Cold weather causes hydaulic oil's viscosity to increase, but by using these oil warming kits, potential hydraulic system damage is minimized.

Adjustable Oil Warming Kit
During cold weather, hydraulic oil’s viscosity increases, which can lead to issues ranging from slow operation and pump cavitations to increased pressures resulting in hydraulic system damage. The Altec Industries' tool circuit oil warming kits take advantage of friction causing heat when oil is passed through a reduced space, thereby reducing your risk to hydraulic system damage.
The following kits attach to the tool circuit at either the tailshelf or platform of your unit. As the chassis is being warmed up, engagement of the PTO and activation of the tool circuit will warm the hydraulic oil as well.
No installation, modification, or tying into the chassis electrical system is required. These kits can be added to any tool circuit on any hydraulic system with Parker Hannifin 3/8 flush face quick-disconnect fittings. Extra sets are available using part # 35620132.
Tailshelf Tool Circuit-Mounted Warming Kits
75040039 – Adjustable Oil Warming Kit: Adjustable needle valve allows complete user control over fluid restriction.
970128289 – 0.03 Orifice Oil Warming Kit: 0.03 Orifice provides maximum restriction for fast oil warming.
Platform Tool Circuit Mounted Warming Kits
970430790 – 0.075 Orifice Oil Warming Kit: Non-Conductive hose allows for use in platform, activated by operator during lulls in movement. 0.075 Larger Orifice allows for more continuous operation without overheating.
