Makita presented more cordless solutions for linesmen and utility installers at the 2021 Utility Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. The company offers solutions for every phase of utilities construction and maintenance, from power generation and transmission to distribution and metering.

18V LXT brushless 4-speed mid-torque 1/2 in. sq. drive utility impact wrench w/ detent anvil (XWT15XVZ): This compact impact wrench weighs only 4 lbs. and is equipped with a brushless motor that delivers a full 240 ft.-lbs. fastening torque and 430 ft.-lbs. nut-busting torque. It includes added protection features engineered for use in live utility environments.
