Ziebart International Corporation on May 22 announced its new, exclusive anti-bacterial interior detailing process that it says kills more than 99 percent of germs in a vehicle's interior. Ziebart provides this anti-bacterial process as part of Ziebart's Inner-Clean(R) detailing service. This unique, patent-pending process cleans, disinfects and sanitizes every surface in a vehicle, including leather, carpet, fabric, plastic, vinyl and glass. Through consumer research, Ziebart says it found that more than 75 percent of people surveyed were concerned with the bacterial elements in their vehicles. This new disinfecting process will not only offer vehicle owners a professional detailing service that leaves their vehicles with that new-car look, feel and smell, but also will give them "peace of mind" that their vehicles are virtually bacteria free, according to Ziebart. Ziebart says this anti-bacterial process will be of particular value to fleets, taxicabs, school buses, parents bringing their new baby home from the hospital, busy families with children, carpoolers, pet owners, used-car buyers, health-conscious people, and folks who eat in their cars. Ziebart says it uses trained technicians, exclusive Ziebart products and specialized equipment to give customers the results they cannot get at home or anywhere else. Ziebart power vacuums, spot cleans and shampoos all interior fabric and carpet using a special anti-bacterial detergent that kills germs and bacteria in a vehicle. Then Ziebart removes the dirt and detergent residue using a state-of-the-art, anti-bacterial hot water extraction process, which leaves a fresh, clean, germ-free surface. A final treatment ensures that more than 99 percent of the germs and bacteria have been killed on porous fabric and carpet. Additionally, Ziebart cleans and dresses all the remaining interior surfaces, including the dash, console, leather, glass and trim with anti-bacterial cleaners to complete the total interior renewal. The new anti-bacterial treatment is available at participating Ziebart stores everywhere; dates of availability may vary. About Ziebart Ziebart has more than 40 years of experience as the world leader in car care solutions that protect, enhance and maintain a vehicle's appearance and value. Ziebart services include professional detailing services, appearance protection services, rust protection, glass repair and replacement, window tint, sprayed-on bedliners, and accessories.
