The new location in Summerville, South Carolina, is 24 miles northwest of the previous location and conveniently located along Interstate 26. It is across from the closest truck stop near the Port of Charleston. The 21-acre site provides plenty of space for easy maneuverability when dropping off and picking up equipment.

The 37,500-square-foot building features a 22,000-square-foot parts warehouse with a large, fully stocked inventory to support fleets and truck operators in the Charleston area. The parts department offers a 5,000 square-foot visual parts display. The service department offers two-hour truck diagnosis through Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLane and features 16 service bays, a truck wash bay, and a comfortable driver’s lounge.

“South Carolina has experienced major growth in international manufacturing through companies like Boeing, Robert Bosch and others,” said Matt Mitzimberg, branch manager of Worldwide Kenworth of South Carolina – Charleston. “We simply outgrew our previous location. We relocated our operation to offer enhanced uptime and support to customers, and meet the area’s growing economy. Our highly visible facility is easily accessible from a major truck route.”

Parts and service are available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Worldwide Equipment operates 14 full-service Kenworth dealerships in Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. The dealer currently employs more than 1,000 employees.
