Volkswagen has reduced the price of its 2015 e-Golf compact EV by more than $2,000 by introducing a new base trim model called the Limited Edition, the automaker has announced.
The e-Golf Limited Edition will go on sale with a starting price of $33,450. The SEL Premium model retails for $36,265.
For the Limited Edition, Volkswagen has added 16-inch steel wheels in place of aluminum-alloys, halogen instead of LED headlights, cloth in place of leatherette seating surfaces, and deletion of the heat-pump system from the SEL Premium model.
