Josef Fidelis Senn, Ph.D., has been appointed president and CEO of Volkswagen Argentina. He succeeds Emilio Saenz, who has become chairman of the Board of Management and plant manager of Volkswagen Navarra. In future, the Finance Department of Volkswagen Argentina is to be headed by Pablo Di Si. As vice president finance and COO, he succeeds Kai Siedlatzek, who has been appointed managing director responsible for Finance and Controlling with Volkswagen Sachsen. All these changes took effect on March 1, 2014.

Senn holds a doctorate in economics. He started his career in 1977 in the steel industry and joined the Volkswagen Group as head of human resources of the Kassel plant in 1998. In 2001, Senn became Head of central human resources of the Volkswagen Group in Wolfsburg. In 2006, he was appointed vice president for human resources at Volkswagen do Brasil, and was then responsible for human resources matters throughout South America from 2008 onwards. Thanks to his work, Senn has extensive knowledge of the economic, social, and political situation in South America, according to the automaker.

Di Si is a graduate of Harvard Business School. Born in Argentina, he started his career in 1994 as a financial analyst. Before joining the Volkswagen group, he held key positions in finance and business development with the Fiat Chrysler Group both in the U.S. and in Brazil from 2005. His last position was as CFO of Case New Holland and Fiat Industrial in Chicago.
