Vintage Telephone Service Truck Placed into Truck Museum
In a collection of about 20 trucks, the BC Vintage Truck Museum is housing a 1951 Chevrolet used as a telephone service truck.

This is 1951 Chevrolet truck used by the BC Telephone Co. as a service truck.
The B.C. Vintage Truck Museum in Cloverdale, Surrey, Canada officially opened to the public in October.
The collection is wide-ranging, from a 1914 truck used by BC Electric Co. during World War I to haul coal and plow streets to a Shell Oil tractor used to haul fuel in the 1930s. Also included is a telephone service truck used by the BC Telephone Co., a 1951 Chevrolet.
Most of the trucks in the collection were taken from a transportation museum in Port Coquitlam, which could no longer afford to house the approximate 20 trucks. The new museum is considered the most significant colection of historical trucks in B.C., according to the Vancouver Sun.
