USAA Selects Chrome Systems Corporation's Configurator

Chrome Systems Corp., provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions, announced June 30 that USAA, a worldwide financial services provider, will expand its automotive offerings by adding Chrome's industry-leading pricing and configuration technology to the USAA membership Web site. With Chrome, USAA will provide its 4.6 million members with instant access to the most accurate automotive pricing and specification information, expanding the online vehicle services available to members. "USAA has a strong reputation of providing the highest level of quality customer service to its members," said Bob Navarre, Chrome CEO. "Chrome enables USAA to expand the services available to its members while maintaining the caliber of service and trust they've come to expect." In a recent study, "Online New-Vehicle Pricing Accuracy," conducted by CNW Marketing/Research in April 2001, 10 online new-vehicle pricing Web sites were evaluated on the accuracy of their data and configuration. Chrome ranked first in accurate vehicle pricing and 100 percent orderable vehicle configuration.
