UK's Vanliners to Convert Fleet for Hyndburn Borough Council

Bolton, UK-based Vanliners announced itsfirst fleet conversion contract for 2013, Hyndburn Borough Council. Vanliners will be converting the existing fleet and fitting the vehicles for a range of different departments.
The fleet owned by the council includes over 50 different vehicles which are not currently fitted with any additional features.
Vanliners was originally established over fifteen years ago and specialize in van ply lining and commercial vehicle accessories, supplying both start-up enterprises and blue-chip organisations.
Founded in 1974, Hyndburn was voted the 10th best council in the Times’ ‘Best Public Sector Places to Work’ and made it to the Times Best Companies Guide.
When complete, the vans will be used for the maintenance staff of Hyndburn Borough Council which includes plumbers, electricians, joiners and glaziers, who are employed to maintain the standards of the corporations’ commercial and residential properties. Some of the vehicles will share additional fittings such as van roof racks, ply lining kits and internal LED lighting, but others are department specific. Other vehicles which will be converted during the contract will be fitted with 3 tier shelving units.
