“As part of the ongoing Opel brand and product offensive in South Africa, we are excited to announce the introduction of two all new Opel vehicles into the South African market in 2015. The ADAM and Mokka continue the Opel brand’s German heritage which is reflected in their exciting design, engaging driving experience and practical innovations,” says Peter Küspert, vice president Sales and Aftersales Opel Group. “The Opel ADAM and Mokka were shown to the South African public at last year’s Johannesburg International Motor Show, where we experienced overwhelmingly positive reactions from consumers and the media.”
Opel has seen a resurgence in South Africa with Opel vehicle sales up 54 percent in the first seven months of 2014, according to the automaker. The company said it plans to increase its footprint by introducing competitive and exciting new products in key market segments.
