Mission Mobile Medical and REE Automotive Ltd. have signed an agreement for REE to supply vehicles to Mission Mobile Medical, which will use them to bring healthcare to underserved rural areas across the United States.

The partnership combines REE’s software-defined vehicle technology with Mission Mobile Medical’s innovations in mobile health solutions to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient healthcare in hard-to-reach communities. Mission Mobile Medical has secured priority production for REE’s P7 electric trucks, with the first deliveries expected in mid-2025.

Expanding Healthcare Access to Over 2 Million Americans

Mission Mobile Medical, one of the world’s largest mobile health companies, has established more than 200 mobile health programs across 42 states and Canada over the past five years, providing on-demand care where traditional healthcare access is limited. The new Powered by REE fleet will help Mission Mobile reach over 2 million Americans who currently face barriers to equitable healthcare access.

“Our clients are mission-driven to deliver healthcare to every corner of our country,” said Travis LeFever, CEO of Mission Mobile Medical. “How long you live shouldn’t depend on where you live. With nearly 20% of Americans in rural areas facing critical barriers to care, we’re not just innovating — we’re taking action. This partnership is a financially sustainable way to address the challenge of equitable healthcare access.”

Why Mission Mobile Medical Chose REE’s P7 Electric Trucks

Mission Mobile Medical selected REE’s P7 electric trucks for their unique zonal architecture and fully flat chassis, which allows for the creation of fully customized medical facilities on the truck’s rear. REE’s x-by-wire system enables over-the-air (OTA) updates and provides advanced fleet and telematics data, ensuring Mission Mobile’s fleet remains efficient, adaptable, and sustainable.

REE’s P7-C is the first U.S.-certified fully by-wire vehicle, designed with four identical REEcorners that integrate steering, braking, suspension, powertrain, and control into a compact module. The technology-first design enhances safety, performance, and flexibility, allowing customization for cargo trucks, work trucks, medical vehicles, and more.

“Collaborating with Mission Mobile Medical highlights the capabilities of REE’s software-defined technology,” said Tali Miller, REE’s chief business officer. “Our customizable chassis enables purpose-built solutions to meet specific needs. With our robust national dealer network offering 80 service points, these mobile health vehicles will receive support close to where medical services are provided. This partnership demonstrates how zero-emission vehicles can efficiently deliver essential services at scale, creating a positive impact in our communities.”
