In November 2025, what recalls are out there that you need to know about, and which ones might impact your fleet? Work Truck has the answers in this comprehensive overview of recent recalls issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The recalls are categorized as either pickup truck, van, and SUV recalls, or medium- and heavy-duty truck recalls, and the manufacturers are listed in alphabetical order.

Pickup Truck, Van & SUV

Chrysler

  • Recall Number: 68C

  • Vehicles: 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe

  • Potential Units Affected: 320,065

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.

  • Solution: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. The remedy is currently under development. Interim notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed December 2, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

  • Recall Number: 67C

  • Vehicles: 2018-2026 Ram ProMaster

  • Potential Units Affected: 291,664

  • Component: Engine and engine cooling

  • Breakdown: The electrical circuit for the radiator fan may overheat.

  • Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Interim notification letters, explaining the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Nov. 20, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

  • Recall Number: 98C

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Ram ProMaster battery electric (BEV)

  • Potential Units Affected: 790

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The electric drive module software may not effectively manage torque, which can result in a loss of drive power.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the software for the motor control processor, battery processor control module, integrated dual charge module, and electric vehicle control unit. Additionally, dealers will inspect and replace the electric drive module, as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Oct. 30, 2025.

Daimler Vans

  • Recall Number: VS3RASCHW

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500

  • Potential Units Affected: 366

  • Component: Structure

  • Breakdown: The right longitudinal frame member may not be reinforced properly, decreasing the structural integrity of the third-row seats.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the frame, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Dec. 19, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated Jan. 2026.

Ford

  • Recall Number: 25SB5

  • Vehicles: 2021-2023 Bronco

  • Potential Units Affected: 163,256

  • Component: Seats

  • Breakdown: The front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the pivot links and bolts, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Dec. 1, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

  • Recall Number: 25SB4

  • Vehicles: 2026 Econoline

  • Potential Units Affected: 6,909

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: The heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system blower motor may fail, which can cause the defrosting and defogging system to become inoperative.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the HVAC blower motor assembly, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Nov. 3, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated February 2026.

  • Recall Number: 25SB7

  • Vehicles: 2021-2022 Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, 2021-2023 F-150, 2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD

  • Potential Units Affected: 174,853

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: The moonroof wind deflector clips may be inadequately attached to the moonroof frame, which can result in the wind deflector detaching from the vehicle.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the moonroof wind deflector as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Nov. 3, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25C60

  • Vehicles: 2025-2026 Lincoln Corsair, Lincoln Aviator, and Explorer

  • Potential Units Affected: 56,841

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: The windshield glass may have visible air bubbles, which can obscure the driver's visibility. 

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Nov. 7, 2025. 

  • Recall Number: 25SB6

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning BEV

  • Potential Units Affected: 14,843

  • Component: Exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: The rear lightbar may have microcracks in the outer lens that allows moisture to accumulate, which can result in inoperative or flickering reverse lights.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the rear lightbar and fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Nov. 3, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in March 2026.

  • Recall Number: 25C54

  • Vehicles: 2025 Ranger

  • Potential Units Affected: 405

  • Component: Air bags, structure

  • Breakdown: The instrument panel top cover may prevent the passenger air bag from deploying as intended.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the instrument panel assembly, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were expected to be mailed Oct. 24, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available.

  • Recall Number: 25C52

  • Vehicles: 2025 Bronco and Ranger

  • Potential Units Affected: 9

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: During manufacturing, the windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle, allowing it to detach in a crash. 

  • Solution: Dealers will remove and replace the windshield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Oct. 20, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25SA4

  • Vehicles: 2016-2019 Lincoln MKC, 2016-2023 Explorer, 2019-2020 Fusion, 2019-2024 Ranger, 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair, Escape, 2021-2024 Bronco, Bronco Sport, and 2022-2024 Maverick

  • Potential Units Affected: 59,006

  • Component: Equipment

  • Breakdown: The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.

  • Solution: Owners are advised not to plug in their block heater until the vehicle is remedied. Dealers will replace the block heater, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed Oct. 24, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated February 2026.

  • Recall Number: 25SA8

  • Vehicles: 2020-2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD

  • Potential Units Affected: 291,901

  • Component: Back over prevention

  • Breakdown: The 360-degree view camera system may not display a rearview image properly in certain lighting conditions.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the image processing module software, free charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Oct. 30, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated March 2026.

  • Recall Number: 25SA3

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Explorer and 2024-2026 Lincoln Aviator

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,364

  • Component: Trailer hitches

  • Breakdown: The trailer hitch assembly bolts may be loose.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and tighten the trailer hitch bolts, or replace them as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Oct. 29, 2025

Tesla

  • Recall Number: SB-25-90-001

  • Vehicles: 2024 Cybertruck

  • Potential Units Affected: 6,197

  • Component: Exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: An incorrect surface primer may have been used to attach the lightbar to the windshield, causing the light bar to loosen and detach.

  • Solution: Tesla Service will inspect the light bar and install an additional mechanical attachment or replace the light bar using tape to adhere the light bar to the windshield as well as an additional mechanical attachment as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 26, 2025.

Toyota

  • Recall Number: 25TB10 and 25TA10

  • Vehicles: 2022-2025 Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, and 2023-2025 Sequoia Hybrid

  • Potential Units Affected: 393,838

  • Component: Back over prevention

  • Breakdown: A software error may cause the rearview image not to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the multimedia display software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 16, 2025. 

Medium- & Heavy-Duty Recalls

Altec

  • Recall Number: MAB-3258

  • Vehicles: 2024 FOSV-CA

  • Potential Units Affected: 30

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The interconnect battery cable routed between the chassis battery and the auxiliary batteries may overheat.

  • Solution: Dealers will reroute the interconnect connections to the fused terminal, replace the interconnect battery cables with higher-gauge cables, and inspect and replace the solenoid as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 1, 2025.

  • Recall Number: CSN-3257

  • Vehicles: 2022-2025 ST600

  • Potential Units Affected: 278

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The auxiliary engine electrical circuit, including the starter and voltage regulator, may become overloaded.

  • Solution: Owners will be advised to turn the battery disconnect off as part of the shutdown procedure. Altec will replace the electrical circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 1, 2025.

  • Recall Number: CSN-3252

  • Vehicles: 2021-2025 AA Series, 2024-2025 AM Series, and 2025 AN Series

  • Potential Units Affected: 268

  • Component: Engine and engine cooling, structure

  • Breakdown: The outrigger pad holder may have been installed too close to the exhaust outlet.

  • Solution: Altec will instruct owners to inspect the outrigger pad holder placement. A kit to relocate the outrigger pad holder or exhaust outlet will be provided as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 21, 2025.

  • Recall Number: CSN-3253

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 A Class

  • Potential Units Affected: 77

  • Component: Equipment

  • Breakdown: The platform retaining plate bolts might not have been properly tightened during assembly.

  • Solution: Altec will instruct owners to inspect and tighten the retaining bolts. Altec will provide replacements for any missing hardware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Nov. 5, 2025. 

Autocar

  • Recall Number: ACX-2506

  • Vehicles: 2025-2026 ACX (Xpeditor)

  • Potential Units Affected: 239

  • Component: Forward collision avoidance

  • Breakdown: The Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system may unexpectedly turn off when the vehicle turns.

  • Solution: Autocar will update the AEB software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 18, 2025

  • Recall Number: ACX-2505 and DC-2507

  • Vehicles: 2024-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend)

  • Potential Units Affected: 2,848

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: The tie rod clamp may have been improperly secured.

  • Solution: Autocar will inspect and secure or repair the tie rod clamp as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 5, 2025.

  • Recall Number: ACX-2504 and DC-2506

  • Vehicles: 2023-2026 ACX (Xpeditor) and DC (Legend)

  • Potential Units Affected: 4,687

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: The steering wheel nut may be improperly secured, allowing the steering wheel to separate from the steering column.

  • Solution: Autocar will inspect and secure the steering wheel nut as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 28, 2025.

Heil

  • Recall Number: N/A

  • Vehicles: 2023-2025 side loader garbage trucks equipped with certain Agility Fuel Solutions CNG Fuel Systems

  • Potential Units Affected: 50

  • Component: Fuel system, other

  • Breakdown: The manual cylinder valves may develop stress corrosion cracks in the bottom plugged port, causing a leak.

  • Solution: Agility will replace the valves, free of charge. All affected garbage trucks were repaired by Aug. 14, 2025.

Isuzu Motors

  • Recall Number: V2506

  • Vehicles: 2022-2026 Isuzu FVR, 2023-2026 Chevrolet 7500XD, 2018-2026 Chevrolet 6500XD, and Isuzu FTR

  • Potential Units Affected: 17,084

  • Component: Suspension

  • Breakdown: The axle stabilizer bracket bolts may crack and break, allowing the bracket to detach from the vehicle.

  • Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 12, 2025.

  • Recall Number: SC0485

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Granite

  • Potential Units Affected: 8,857

  • Component: Exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: The LED headlights may fail.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the LED headlights, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 2, 2026.

  • Recall Number: SC0485

  • Vehicles: 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle 

  • Potential Units Affected: 15,841

  • Component: Seat belts

  • Breakdown: The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded.

  • Solution: Dealers will install a reinforcement plate, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 5, 2025.

Supreme

  • Recall Number: N/A

  • Vehicles: 2025 Wabash insulated truck body

  • Potential Units Affected: 137

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The assembly bolts used to attach the auxiliary battery box may be misaligned, allowing the bolts to break.

  • Solution: Dealers will permanently remove the battery box, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 1, 2025

Volvo Trucks

  • Recall Number: RVXX2510

  • Vehicles: 2019-2026 VAH

  • Potential Units Affected: 242

  • Component: Seat belts

  • Breakdown: The passenger seat belt anchor may fail due to inadequate floor reinforcement.

  • Solution: Dealers will install a new weld nut and washer, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 2, 2026.

  • Recall Number: RVXX2509

  • Vehicles: 2025-2026 New VN

  • Potential Units Affected: 3,124

  • Component: Exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: The roof center marker lights may fail to illuminate.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the center roof marker light, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 2, 2026.
