Component: Service brakes, hydraulic
Breakdown: The bolts securing the front brake caliper bracket may not be tightened properly, which can result in reduced steering control, a brake fluid leak, and a loss of front brake function.
Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the front brake caliper brackets and bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2025.

Breakdown: The powertrain control module (PCM) software has fail-safe temperature threshold values higher than intended for the engine. This may delay engine cooling and result in engine overheating.

Breakdown: The seat belt pretensioner in the driver and/or front passenger seat may inadvertently lock the seat belt, which will not allow the belt to retract or extend.
Solution: Dealers will inspect the seat belt retractor date codes and replace the seat belt retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed April 14, 2025.

Breakdown: The engine may have a misaligned engine cup plug, which can result in a rapid oil leak.

Breakdown: The high voltage battery junction box may contain an incorrect fuse, which can fail and result in a sudden loss of drive power.

Breakdown: The brake master cylinder may allow brake fluid to leak from the front wheel circuit into the brake booster.

For vehicles that pass inspection, dealers will add higher viscosity oil, install a new oil fill cap, replace the oil filter, and update the owner's manual. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
