Pickup Truck, Van & SUV

Chrysler

  • Recall Number: 23V413

  • Vehicles: 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • Potential Units Affected: 80,620

  • Component: Suspension

  • Breakdown: The rear coil springs may be incorrectly installed and detach from the vehicle while driving.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the rear coil spring assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Feb. 12, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in March 2026.

  • Recall Number: 03D

  • Vehicles: 2024-2026 Jeep Wagoneer S, 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, Ram 5500 Cab Chassis, and 2026 Jeep Cherokee

  • Potential Units Affected: 456,287

  • Component: Exterior lighting, electrical system

  • Breakdown: Due to an improperly designed trailer tow module, the trailer lights may fail to illuminate and the trailer brakes may fail.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the trailer tow module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 24, 2026.

Daimler Vans

  • Recall Number: VS2KORSRS

  • Vehicles: 2020 and 2022-2023 Mercedes-Benz Metris

  • Potential Units Affected: 52,356

  • Component: Air bags

  • Breakdown: Water may accumulate on the air bag control unit, which can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended.

  • Solution: Dealers will install a cover on the air bag control unit, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed March 20, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in April 2026.

  • Recall Number: V3EAVASOU

  • Vehicles: 2025 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter

  • Potential Units Affected: 117

  • Component: Back over prevention

  • Breakdown: The vehicles fail to make sufficient pedestrian warning sounds when in reverse.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the software for the pedestrian warning sounds, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed April 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in April 2026.

Ford

  • Recall Number: 26S04

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 Transit

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,403

  • Component: Structure

  • Breakdown: The engine crossmember may not be secured properly, which can cause the engine to shift and possibly result in a loss of drive power or brake failure.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the cross member fasteners, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed February 13, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. 

  • Recall Number: 26S05

  • Vehicles: 2026 E-Transit

  • Potential Units Affected: 98

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: Bolts inside the high-voltage battery pack may be missing washers, which can cause high electrical resistance or electrical arcing.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the busbar fasteners and replace the busbar if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on Feb. 13, 2026.

  • Recall Number: 26C07

  • Vehicles: 2025 Transit

  • Potential Units Affected: 15,965

  • Component: Service brakes, hydraulic

  • Breakdown: The brake pedal may disconnect from the brake booster pushrod, causing a loss of brake function.

  • Solution: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will inspect and repair the brake booster assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Feb. 24, 2026.

  • Recall Number: 26S08

  • Vehicles: 2017-2019 Explorer

  • Potential Units Affected: 412,774

  • Component: Suspension

  • Breakdown: The rear suspension toe links may fracture.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the toe links, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on March 9, 2026.

  • Recall Number: 26C10

  • Vehicles: 2021-2026 F-150, 2022-2026 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, Maverick, 2024-2026 Ranger, 2023-2026 F-600 SD, 2022-2027 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, and 2026 E-Transit

  • Potential Units Affected: 4,381,878

  • Component: Electrical system, exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: When towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may lose communication with the vehicle, possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights, or a loss of brake function. 

  • Solution: The integrated trailer module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 17, 2026

General Motors

  • Recall Number: N252516560

  • Vehicles: 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, GMC Sierra 2500, 3500, and 2020-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,055

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The transmission control valve may fail and cause the rear wheels to lock up.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect the vehicles and update the transmission control software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2026.

  • Recall Number: N252536750

  • Vehicles: 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade, and Cadillac Escalade ESV

  • Potential Units Affected: 43,732

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The transmission control valve may fail and lock up the rear wheels.

  • Solution: Dealers will install new transmission control module (TCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 30, 2026.

  • Recall Number: NGDV_TSB_059

  • Vehicles: 2025-2026 NGDV

  • Potential Units Affected: 5,242

  • Component: Service brakes, hydraulic

  • Breakdown: The mounting pin and retaining clip that retain the brake actuator rod to the brake pedal may not have been installed.

  • Solution: Oshkosh Defense will inspect and install the mounting pin and retaining clip as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on Feb. 16, 2026.

Medium- & Heavy-Duty Recalls

Altec

  • Recall Number: CSN-3281

  • Vehicles: 2021-2025 Digger Derrick and 2021-2025 AM Series Aerial Device

  • Potential Units Affected: 57

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The chassis engine may start unintentionally due to a missing diode in the Altec power distribution module.

  • Solution: Altec will provide instructions to inspect the power distribution module for a diode, and provide a repair kit as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 3, 2026.

Autocar

  • Recall Number: ACX-2601

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 ACX (Xpeditor)

  • Potential Units Affected: 11

  • Component: Electronic stability control (ESC)

  • Breakdown: Contact with the drive line yoke may damage the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) unit.

  • Solution: Autocar will relocate the ESC unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 27, 2026.

Daimler Trucks

  • Recall Number: F1029

  • Vehicles: 2020-2027 Western Star 49X and 2021-2027 Western Star 47X

  • Potential Units Affected: 26,959

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: A stud connecting the battery to the starter at the frame rail may have been incorrectly installed or may corrode, which can cause a short circuit.

  • Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 11, 2026.

Fontaine Modification

  • Recall Number: N/A

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Freightliner Business Class M2

  • Potential Units Affected: 280

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: The steering gearbox assembly may have been assembled with insufficient oil.

  • Solution: Fontaine Modification will inspect and replace the steering gearbox as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Feb. 26, 2026.

  • Recall Number: 26501

  • Vehicles: 2026-2027 MV

  • Potential Units Affected: 204

  • Component: Service brakes, forward collision avoidance

  • Breakdown: The ECU software may fail to engage the brakes with adaptive cruise control (ACC) or hill hold assist.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the brake ECU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026.

Orange EV

  • Recall Number: 2026-SRC-01

  • Vehicles: 2018-2023 T-Series Pure Electric and 2024-2026 e-TRIEVER

  • Potential Units Affected: 139

  • Component: Latches/locks/linkages

  • Breakdown: The driver's side door handles may be missing a lock.

  • Solution: OEV field service will replace the door handles, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026.

Shyft Group

  • Recall Number: 26-01

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800

  • Potential Units Affected: 149

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: The mounting fasteners may loosen or detach, causing the steering gearbox to bind.

  • Solution: Shyft will replace the steering gearbox mounting bolts and washers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Feb. 23, 2026. 

Volvo Trucks

  • Recall Number: RVXX2601

  • Vehicles: 2024-2027 VNL

  • Potential Units Affected: 800

  • Component: Parking brake

  • Breakdown: If the vehicle is in weight bias mode there may not be enough weight on the parking brake axle, which could result in inadequate parking brake force.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the brake chambers, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 10, 2026.
