Component: Suspension
Breakdown: The rear coil springs may be incorrectly installed and detach from the vehicle while driving.
Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the rear coil spring assembly, as necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Feb. 12, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in March 2026.

Component: Air bags
Breakdown: Water may accumulate on the air bag control unit, which can cause the air bags not to deploy as intended.
Solution: Dealers will install a cover on the air bag control unit, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed March 20, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated in April 2026.

Breakdown: The vehicles fail to make sufficient pedestrian warning sounds when in reverse.

Breakdown: The engine crossmember may not be secured properly, which can cause the engine to shift and possibly result in a loss of drive power or brake failure.

Breakdown: Bolts inside the high-voltage battery pack may be missing washers, which can cause high electrical resistance or electrical arcing.

Breakdown: The brake pedal may disconnect from the brake booster pushrod, causing a loss of brake function.

Breakdown: When towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module (ITRM) may lose communication with the vehicle, possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights, or a loss of brake function.
Solution: The integrated trailer module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 17, 2026
