Recall Number: 11C
Vehicles: 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
Potential Units Affected: 133
Component: Equipment, back over prevention
Breakdown: The center stack upper display (DCSD) contains a transistor that may overheat and prevent the rearview camera image from displaying.
Solution: Dealers replaced the DCSD, free of charge. All affected vehicles have been repaired. Owner notification letters were mailed Feb. 27, 2025.
Daimler Vans

Vehicles: 2024 Mercedes-Benz eSprinter
Potential Units Affected: 689
Component: Parking brake, power train
Breakdown: The welds on the helical gear within the rear axle drivetrain may fail, causing a loss of drive power.
Solution: Dealers will replace the rear axle electric drivetrain, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 11, 2025.
Ford

Vehicles: 2021 Expedition, 2021-2022 Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, and 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair

Component: Back over prevention
Breakdown: The rearview camera may display a blank or distorted image.
Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed Feb. 27, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available.

Vehicles: 2020-2021 Explorer and Aviator
Potential Units Affected: 240,510
Component: Seatbelts
Breakdown: The seat belt buckle anchor bolts at one or more seating positions may be improperly secured. Additionally, vehicles may have an improperly secured seat belt retractor anchor bolt and/or seat belt anchor bolt at the second-row center seating position, if equipped.
Solution: Dealers will inspect seat belt buckle anchor bolts in all seating positions. Additionally, dealers will inspect the seat belt retractor anchor bolt and seat belt anchor bolt at the second-row center seating position, if equipped. If loose anchor bolts are found, the affected seat components will be replaced. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2025.

Breakdown: In the event that one of the rear turn signals stops working, the vehicle will not adjust the turn signal flash rate frequency to warn the driver that a turn signal has failed.
Solution: Dealers will update the body control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 31, 2025.

Breakdown: The attachments that hold the front grille deflectors in place may fracture, resulting in grille detachment.

Breakdown: The headlight low beams may fail to illuminate when starting the vehicle in cold weather.
Solution: Rivian will replace the headlight control modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 28, 2025.

Component: Service brakes, hydraulic
Breakdown: The rear brake hoses can be damaged if mud and dirt build up inside the rear wheels. This can result in a brake fluid leak.
Solution: Dealers will replace both rear brake hoses, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed March 24, 2025. A second letter will be sent once the remedy is available.

Breakdown: A software error may cause the forward collision sensing radar to fail.

Breakdown: The hydrogen tank mounting block bolts may be too long and damage the tank.

Breakdown: The exterior lighting switch may fail, resulting in the hazard lights and the instrument display back-light brightness adjustment not functioning.
