Daimler Vans

  • Recall Number: VS3HALHAN

  • Vehicles: 2024 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

  • Potential Units Affected: 88

  • Component: Parking brake

  • Breakdown: The parking brake cable bracket welds may fail and disengage the parking brake.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and repair the parking brake cable bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 25, 2025.

Ford

  • Recall Number: 25S22

  • Vehicles: 2020-2022 Explorer

  • Potential Units Affected: 4,247

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The rear axle horizontal mounting bolt may fracture and cause the driveshaft to disconnect.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the powertrain control module (PCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Vehicles: 2023 Super Duty F-250 and F-350

  • Potential Units Affected: 9

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: The driver and front passenger windows may fail to detect an obstacle while closing and not reverse direction as intended.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Vehicles: 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2022-2023 Maverick

  • Potential Units Affected: 12,833

  • Component: Powertrain, electrical system

  • Breakdown: The body and power train control modules may fail to detect a change in the 12-volt battery state of charge.

  • Solution: Dealers will recalibrate the body control module and power train control module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Vehicles: 2020-2023 Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair 

  • Potential Units Affected: 49,399

  • Component: Back over prevention

  • Breakdown: The video output may fail, preventing the rearview camera image from displaying.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the Image Processing Module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25S20

  • Vehicles: 2025 Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450

  • Potential Units Affected: 11,745

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The steering column shifter may have been improperly welded and detach from the steering column.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect the steering column serial numbers and replace the steering column as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 F-150, Bronco, 2024 Ranger, 2025 Mustang, Explorer, and Aviator

  • Potential Units Affected: 269

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The transmission valve body may have been machined incorrectly, which can cause reverse gear failure, or unexpected forward movement in reverse or neutral gear.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the transmission main control valve body, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 5, 2025.

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Transit

  • Potential Units Affected: 471

  • Component: Visibility

  • Breakdown: The heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system's controls, including those for defog and defrost, may become inoperative.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the remote climate control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Vehicle: 2021 F-150

  • Potential Units Affected: 567

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) for low transmission fluid pressure may falsely activate and cause the transmission to unexpectedly shift into neutral.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 24, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25C06

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Maverick Hybrid

  • Potential Units Affected: 933

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The instrument panel cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2025.

  • Vehicles: 2022 Maverick

  • Potential Units Affected: 141

  • Component: Service brakes, hydraulic

  • Breakdown: nder certain circumstances, the Antilock Brake System (ABS) module may cause the brake lights to illuminate without the driver applying the brakes.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the software in the ABS module, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 25, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25S13

  • Vehicles: 2022 Maverick

  • Potential Units Affected: 2

  • Component: Powertrain, electrical system

  • Breakdown: The body and power train control modules may fail to detect a change in the 12-volt battery state of charge.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the power train control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25S14

  • Vehicles: 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E 

  • Potential Units Affected: 633

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The high voltage battery main contactors may overheat.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the on-board software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 14, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25S18

  • Vehicles: 2022-2024 F-150 Lightning

  • Potential Units Affected: 950

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: A manufacturing defect in the high voltage battery cells may result in an internal short circuit.

  • Solution: Owners are advised to only charge their vehicles to a maximum of 80% battery capacity until the repair has been completed. Dealers will inspect and replace the high voltage battery array as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 17, 2025. 

  • Recall Number: 25S18

  • Vehicles: 2021-2022 F-150, 2022 Maverick, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550

  • Potential Units Affected: 10,627

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: Due to a software error, a towed trailer equipped with an electric or electric-over hydraulic brake system may not brake.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the integrated trailer brake control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25S16

  • Vehicles: 2022-2024 Maverick, 2022 Escape, and 2021-2022 Lincoln Corsair

  • Potential Units Affected: 207

  • Component: Powertrain

  • Breakdown: The Hybrid Powertrain Control Module (HPCM) software may cause the vehicle to shift into neutral unexpectedly, causing a loss of drive power.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the HPCM software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25S17

  • Vehicles: 2023 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450

  • Potential Units Affected: 355

  • Component: Back over prevention

  • Breakdown: The default rearview camera image may not be displayed when using the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist feature.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the Advanced Drive Assistance System (ADAS) module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2025.

Tesla

  • Recall Number: SB-25-10-001

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Cybertruck

  • Potential Units Affected: 46,096

  • Component: Structure

  • Breakdown: The cant rail, a stainless-steel exterior trim panel, can delaminate and detach from the vehicle.

  • Solution: Tesla service will replace the cant rail assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 19, 2025.

Medium- & Heavy-Duty Recalls

Daimler Trucks North America

  • Recall Number: F1018

  • Vehicles: 2026 Freightliner 108SD, Freightliner 114SD, Freightliner Cascadia, 2025-2026 Freightliner Business Class M2, Western Star 47X, and Western Star 49X

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,891

  • Component: Exterior lighting, forward collision avoidance

  • Breakdown: A software error in the advanced signal and actuator module for the automatic emergency braking system may cause the brake lights to fail to illuminate.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the brake light software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 24, 2025.

General Motors

  • Recall Number: N252495400

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 BrightDrop Zevo 600 and 2024 Zevo 400

  • Potential Units Affected: 10

  • Component: Steering

  • Breakdown: The steering shaft may have been damaged during vehicle assembly and cause the steering to lock up.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the lower intermediate shaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 28, 2025.

Mack Trucks

  • Recall Number: SC0475

  • Vehicles: 2022-2024 Mack LRBE

  • Potential Units Affected: 7

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The high voltage batteries may have loose hardware that can fall inside the battery pack and create a short circuit.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 19, 2025.

Motiv Power Systems

  • Recall Number: N/A

  • Vehicles: 2017-2020 E-450 and F-59 vehicles with Gen 4 EPIC powertrain, 2020-2023 E-450, F-59, and F-53 vehicles with a Gen 5 EPIC powertrain, and 2023-2025 Motiv F-59 and F-53 vehicles with a Gen 6 EPIC powertrain

  • Potential Units Affected: 222

  • Component: Vehicle speed control, electrical system

  • Breakdown: A throttle position sensor (TPS) power wire connector pin may loosen, causing a loss of signal to the powertrain control module and a loss of drive power.

  • Solution: Motiv field support technicians will inspect and repair, or replace the PCM connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 1, 2025.

Paccar

  • Recall Number: 25PBC and 25KWC

  • Vehicles: 2021-2025 Peterbilt 520, 579, and Kenworth T680

  • Potential Units Affected: 239

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The high voltage (HV) contactors may open, causing a sudden loss of high voltage and a loss of drive power.

  • Solution: Dealers will update the software and replace the electrical harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 23, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25KWD and 25PBD

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Peterbilt 220, Kenworth K270, and K370 medium-duty battery electric vehicles

  • Potential Units Affected: 42

  • Component: Electrical system

  • Breakdown: The cradle harness may have a loose electrical connection that can cause a loss of drive power.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the cradle harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 23, 2025.

Orange EV

  • Recall Number: N/A

  • Vehicles: 2023-2024 HUSK-e XP

  • Potential Units Affected: 24

  • Component: Wheels, equipment, tires

  • Breakdown: The rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) on the federal placard is incorrect and the installed tires and rims may be inadequate for the truck's intended use. 

  • Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk are expected to be mailed April 25, 2025.

Shyft Group

  • Recall Number: N/A

  • Vehicles: 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800

  • Potential Units Affected: 14

  • Component: Exterior lighting

  • Breakdown: The headlight horizontal adjustment stud is missing a cover, allowing for horizontal adjustment of the headlight beam. 

  • Solution: Dealers will install a cover over the horizontal adjustment studs, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 18, 2025.

  • Recall Number: 25-07

  • Vehicles: 2025 Utilimaster Upfit vehicles

  • Potential Units Affected: 605

  • Component: Seats

  • Breakdown: The passenger jump seat mounting bolts may not have been properly tightened. 

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and tighten the jump seat mounting bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 26, 2025.

Volvo

  • Recall Number: RVXX2502

  • Vehicles: 2023-2025 New VN

  • Potential Units Affected: 8

  • Component: Service brakes, air

  • Breakdown: The brakes may take longer than expected to activate.

  • Solution: Dealers will install a new pneumatic circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2025.
