PuraDYN Filter Technologies Inc. has announced an expanded distribution agreement with CT Fleet Services of Troy, Mich. The announcement was made by Kevin G. Kroger, president/COO of puraDYN. “CT Fleet Services has been aggressive in selling our filters to trucking fleets in the metro-Detroit area,” Kroger said. “They have found a large market for our filters with Southeastern Michigan fleets looking to decrease their vehicle maintenance costs, extend equipment life, benefit the environment and conserve energy.” The new agreement covers CT Fleet Services’ newly opened location in Troy, Mich. This now gives CT Fleet Services two locations in the Troy area. CT Fleet Services is one of the largest fleet product dealers in Michigan servicing trucking companies, construction equipment and municipal vehicle fleets. The company has been a distributor of puraDYN filters for two years. PuraDYN is the only bypass filter system distributed by CT Fleet Services. “Success with our various products including puraDYN’s filters made it necessary for us to secure more space to service our customers,” said Bill Cook, president of CT Fleet Services. “Now we can stock even more merchandise so that our six mobile service units and our two fully-equipped workshop trailers can always have product when servicing and installing puraDYN units.” About puraDYN PuraDYN manufactures and markets the puraDYN By-Pass Oil Filtration System, a unit that it says continuously filters lubricating and hydraulic oil by reducing solid contaminants down to 0.25 micron, as well as removing liquid contaminants, therefore maintaining the oil’s viscosity and greatly reducing or even eliminating the necessity for oil changes. As a result of this continuous process, the useful engine and hydraulic system life can be extended, according to puraDYN. PuraDYN says the system is effective for internal combustion engines, hydraulic applications and automatic transmissions in the automotive, transportation, construction, marine, agriculture, mining, military and power generating industries. In addition to the economies realized by the reduced purchases of new oil and the costs of disposing of used oil (up to 90 percent, according to puraDYN) and extended equipment life, the puraDYN By-Pass Oil Filtration System has been certified as a "Pollution Preventing Technology" by the California Environmental Protection Agency.
