Online voting for Automotive Fleet's annual Fleet Car and Truck of the Year, open to all professional fleet managers, will end Friday, Oct. 22.
Online voting for Automotive Fleet's annual Fleet Car and Truck of the Year, open to all professional fleet managers, will end Friday, Oct. 22. Last year's winners were the 2010-MY Chevrolet Malibu and Silverado. 2009 marked the second consecutive win for the Malibu and third consecutive win for the Silverado.
The 2011 award nominations include 74 car and 13 light-duty truck models, representing all major domestic and import-badged vehicles. Fleet managers may vote for one vehicle in both car and truck categories and are encouraged to select the car and/or truck that best fits their company fleet needs, considering features, function, styling, maintenance, remarketing value, OEM service, and driver feedback.
Inaugurated in 2003, the Fleet Car and Truck of the Year awards continues Automotive Fleet's efforts to promote excellence in the fleet industry, said Mike Antich, AF editor. In addition to spotlighting outstanding fleet professionals, "We've extended that recognition to the products and tools that allow fleet professionals to do their jobs at the highest possible level, and that includes the critically important tool of the vehicles they select to perform their companies' missions."
Click here to vote. Balloting closes Oct. 22. Winning vehicles will be announced in the December AF issue.
