Omnitracs, LLC, a provider of fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies, announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from San Diego to Dallas. The transition is scheduled to take place in early 2015 and will be supported by a grant from the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF).

Founded more than 25 years ago, Omnitracs pioneered the use of commercial vehicle telematics with its legacy OmniTRACS mobile information system for the transportation and logistics market. Today, Omnitracs’ nearly 700 employees--and its Roadnet, Sylectus and FleetRisk Advisors business units--deliver software-as-a-service-based solutions to more than 3,800 private and for-hire fleet customers and 500,000 vehicles around the globe.
