NexTraq, a leading GPS fleet and asset tracking company, has successfully integrated its NexTraq Fleet Tracking solution with leading field service management solution provider TOA Technologies’ ETAdirect solution. The result for NexTraq customers is a comprehensive mobile workforce management system that provides capabilities including fleet tracking, optimized scheduling and dispatching capabilities.

“TOA’s intelligent, predictive ETAdirect software provides a holistic, real-time view into what’s happening in the field, driving greater efficiencies and enhanced customer experiences,” said Jeffrey Wartgow, vice president of channels and alliances at TOA Technologies. “Such complete, robust and flexible field service management software is augmented by comprehensive fleet management solutions, like NexTraq.”

The integration with NexTraq and ETAdirect enables companies to import detailed GPS lat/long information from the NexTraq solution into TOA’s ETAdirect solution, providing additional context and actionable data within TOA’s mapping functionality. Connecting the two applications enables mobile organizations to drill down deeper into the real-time visibility of field workforce activities ETAdirect already offers by adding layers of knowledge that more closely align these employee activities to specific fleet and location-based intelligence. Together, ETAdirect and NexTraq enable organizations to more effectively:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding technician location and estimated time of arrival

  • Monitor compliance

  • Improve safety by identifying employees that have not reported back to the office

Additionally, by integrating the NexTraq Fleet Tracking solution with field service management applications, companies achieve unlimited access to historical data including vehicle activity.

Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq, said, “We know how important it is for customers to see integrated data – instead of using various solutions that create technology silos and slow down productivity and growth. With successful integrations, including our recent success with TOA Technologies, we continue to be the leader in application integration whether its workforce management, fuel card data or routing functionality.”
